The Danby Land Bank Cooperative provides an organization and an infrastructure that allows rural property owners to utilize their fields and forests for grass and wood pellet production.

It positions itself between rural landowners with fields of 7 or more acres and entrepreneurial organizations that need access to biofeedstocks. Its goal is to unify fragmented and non-farming rural landowners to form a large enough agricultural base to provide economies of scale.

Announcements:

Saturday, May 15 meeting at Danby Townhall at 11am for people still interested in joining this year.   Taking new members and signing leases.
