Two Community Biomass Energy Meetings were sponsored by Land Bank and Energy Independent Caroline at Danby Town Hall on Jan13 at 7pm (Wednesday) and at Caroline Town Hall on Jan 16 at 11am (Saturday) -  The purpose is to let the community know how plans for a local pelletizing mill are evolving.  The partnership is interested in talking to local stakeholders and exploring avenues of local ownership and involvement.  And also, since renewable energy and energy efficiency go hand in hand, representatives from TCAction and Ithaca Neighborhood housing will explain New York State and Federal incentives for weatherization and new stove purchases. 
Feb 13 Meeting for new members at Danby Town Hall at 11 am - 2010 season members must come to a new member meeting. 
Feb 27 second meeting for new members at Danby Town Hall at 11 am
Another Community Biomass Energy meeting will be in Dryden at Dryden Cafe Mar 9 at 7pm 
Latest meeting is May 15 at Danby Town Hall at 11am for lease signing
